Remembering Dreams On Fireworks Friday

For those of you following along at home, there were about five of us with cameras and tripods trying to get the timing down for the "money" shot from the "Remember, Dreams Do Come True" fireworks last Friday night from the top level of Innoventions. I find it interesting that the effect of these three shells seems to work no matter where you are viewing the show from. I posted a shot not too long ago of Mickey over the Mark Twain during the same show, and it looked just as spectacular from Tomorrowland while we were shooting. I can't wait to see what the others in our group (Gregg L Cooper, Ring Of Fire Hot Sauce and his wife Diane, Ryan Pastorino, and Justin Cooper (Tripod Monky) post as we unofficially agreed to post our shots today. But then I cheated and posted an early shot below, and Ryan Pastorino posted a great one yesterday, so I guess we'll see.

Shot with the Sigma 10-20.

I can't wait to get down to Disneyland in April! I've been wanting to photograph a good fireworks show! Any advice on where to shoot from? Castle seems like the obvious. Just didn't know if you had some place else in mind!

Fantastic! Amazing capture and composition. The fireworks are perfect, of course, but I love the distinct, beautifully lit layers in the foreground and middle. This could easily be an artist's concept sketch if it weren't a photograph!
