I suspected it would snap when I tried to true it, it was just too abused by the bike very bent the Rear dérailleur was pointing out to the front.


I had hangers crack at the same spot there too, so this would eventually snap anyway. I installed the original think qr axle drop outs. only got one spare now.

this is caused by riding the bike, not impacts, I can't continue this, new bike is needed, mine is too short.

also I experienced the same issues with both of the bikes, clearly not my fault, clearly horrible engineering mistakes, they did not make the frame set stiff enough, having enough flex, and stiffness in the right places is important, I haven't tried the newer bikes, but I won't go for trek, next time , cus I want longer, slacker, more stable, balanced bike.
