12. Previous Water Line at Cranberry Tube

New York City Transit employees are pumping water out of the Cranberry Street Tunnel, which carries the A and C trains between Brooklyn and Manhattan underneath the East River.

    This is nuts. I'd always thought the walls of subway tunnels were black, but I guess it's just decades of dirt!

    Hard to believe it's a subway tunnel, looks more like a sewer.

    I can't believe the MTA missed this perfect opportunity to replace the trains with fiberglass boats, and line the walls with pirate skeletons.
