      I would like to see a picture of what it looked like before, a before and after. First thought when I looked at the photo was it was maybe the subway, (and no I am not from New York), the realized it was somewhere else. Otherwise it just looks like a bunch of stuff washed in from storm surge and no correlation to have been a store.

      In this case I think 'shop' means work shop, machine shop or engine shop, a place where they repair and maintain the trains and train cars. Not a store.
