Badly Drawn Tintin - Celebrating Georges Prosper Remi
May 22, 2007 is the centenary of the birth of Georges Prosper Remi, alias Hergé, most famous as the creator of Tintin.
This picture was drawn using the GIMP, cursor control by the Trackstick on my Thinkpad laptop (it was even worse using an external mouse). This was after a few disastrous attempts at producing the drawing freehand, on paper, even after following the instructions. Can't wait for my Wacom tablet to turn up.
In the meantime, I will go back to writing software and will leave illustration to those better qualified to do so.
