This magnificent example of Greek Revival architecture is located on the banks of the Mississippi River in Vacherie, La. Started in 1836, the Mansion was the dream home of Jacques Telespore and Celine Pilie Roman. The mansion sets at the end of a ¼ mile alley of live oaks that were planted around 1711. No one knows who planted the 28 trees which now match the 28 tuscan columns surrounding the mansion. One can travel back in time, as they walk down the alley of oaks leading to Oak Alley Plantion.
