Chamberí ghost station

Restored after almost 50 years of abandonment, this ghost train station is a great example of what Madrid's subway looked like in 1919. In 1966 the station was closed because it was impossible to adapt the curved platform to the new, 50% longer trains.

Trains still go through it, as the station is part of line 1.

The ghost station is located at Plaza de Chamberí, and the entrance is free. More info here.
