shot at an abandoned NIKE Missile silo
Taken with the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8
This was shot in a completely dark, abandoned NIKE Missile silo. I set up a Canon 430 EX with a Yongnuo remote receiver on a Gorillapod. This put the flash about 8" off of the ground.
The flash was placed about 12-15 feet directly behind the model. It's just inches beyond the edge of the other side of the pit behind her.
I had a flexible 4 foot reflector propped up to my rear-left to illuminate her front. I had an assistant on my right, he would shine a pen light on the model in the pitch black so I could focus, and then shoot.
