in the woods with Bessa
Been doing some bicycle riding recently and took my 1939 Bessa E Messer with me to shoot with. It's a lovely camera with an amazing Voigtlaender Barunschweig Skopar 1:3,5 f=10,5 cm lens capable of producing beautiful results on 120 type film. I was considering taking different cameras with me for those hikes I've been making but eventually decided folders are the best when it comes to compactness in medium format.
Bessa E Messer; Fuji Acros 100; dev. ID-11, 1+1, 12 min, 20C; fix. Fomafix 10 min.; scan Epson Perfection V500
I got lucky with the tricky light conditions and almost got no flares with the uncoated Skopar (I like flares but this lens produces them like mad when facing the sun). Here, the foliage obscured the sun well enough.
