Drops on green #1
I'm having yet another slow day at home today and since I have been feeling quite creative lately I set up the water tank and got my flashes out once more. What I really wanted to do was to take the camera out for a little trip but it's still way too hot to drag the gear around. In Sweden we love a long summer - in Japan I can't wait for it to end :)
This shot is one of about sixty I took today - and only two came out ok. That's the thing with drop shots - you never know what you're going to get.
Using remote triggers (Pocket Wizards) I set three flashes - background, above and side with a green filter on the background flash. Then manually setting the focus, I started dropping water in the tank and kept pressing the remote shutter button :) In Photoshop I blurred the background a bit to clear the splash patterns that had formed (and I DID wipe between every 3-4 shots or so . . .)
I'll upload this as attribution only so anyone who wants to use it for a project or commercially is free to do so :) [but please let me know if you do]
[the original was slightly cropped to fit the A4 size @300 dpi for printing]
