#168 Chandelier foyer

The interior of the Artscape, the building where I work. Not the best photo I've ever taken, but it serves to illustrate where so many of my other 365 shots have come from. Which is pretty fitting, since I'll be leaving here soon. :)

Looks like you should be able to rip out a sisha...plug it with some wacky tobaccy and have a chilly day admiring the artwork...

    Bliss.... :D
  • Lillput 8y

What lovely surroundings. Much nicer than your average workspace.
  • Bigbird3 8y

My oh my your work place is rather swish. So where are you off to next.....a castle in the air???
  • stinkymcgee! 8y

Dude, that is one swanky looking workplace... If my workplace had a bar, I can guaran-damn-tee you I wouldn't get much done each day!
  • Jon Fife 8y

That's pretty dang cool. Even cool places can get old after a while, though, so good luck on your next endeavor. I look forward to seeing snippets of it on your photostream :)

Seen in my contacts' photos. (?)

Awesome guy..... where is your studio in relation to this view.....?
  • Kieran Connellan 8y

Thanks everyone, it looks pretty swish, but it is a theatre, our studio downstairs is somewhat more humble. :D
  • Mark 8y

    Where are you going?
  • Kieran Connellan 8y

    To New Zealand actually. :)
  • katbaro 8y

looks like an amazing place to work even if you are downstairs. Are you headed on an exciting new opportunity in NZ?
  • Joe Hastings 8y

    Cool looking building!

A lot more inspiring than where I work
  • Mark 8y

What are you going to be doing in New Zealand? How did you arrange it.
    I have a million questions.
  • Kieran Connellan 8y

, , I have nothing specific planned in New Zealand, I have some family thats moved there, so I'm am going to try my luck out there. South Africa's beautiful, but I wouldn't exactly call it the land of opportunity.

I guess it depends on which of the two buildings you work in. :D
  • sazzy 8y

wow...what a place! love all the deep reds!

read somewhere that new zealand/australia is the next silicon valley...talent is moving there so I wish you much success! looking forward to your pix from NZ but can't imagine more glorious sunsets than your south africa shots.
  • Daniel Light 8y

Swish, indeed! I want one of those chandeliers. Would you please remove one and take it with you to New Zealand?

    Thanks. You're a pal.
  • The Andrew-Rittle Family 8y

Maybe because I'm not used to seeing pics of fancy lobbies, but for some crazy reason in the thumb I thought the chandeliers were slabs of meat at an outdoor market! They hang down so low, and during the same quick glance I figured the red chairs to be veggie stands. Tomatoes I guess.

Seen in your Project 365 set. (?)

A behind the scene shot :) Pretty place you work in, lucky you! Compared to my office this is a palace!
