The Evolution Control Committee.
Mark Gunderson, AKA the Evolution Control Committee, played recently at Hermann's Bar, as guest of the Liquid Architecture festival. He brought the Wheel of Mashup, and even better, the new VidiMasher 3000 - the rather clever set-up you see here, a rear-projected screen which acts as interface between an infra-red pointer on the finger and the modified wii-motes which are trained on the screen. Or, um, something. It's a helluva lot more photogenic than the back of a laptop screen, that's for sure.
It was a good gig, hindered only slightly by Hermann's unwavering ambient blandness. See the ECC website if you're curious, where there are oodles of mp3s and vids for the downloading.
(And won't you please pardon the unpardonably tardy upload?)
