Harriet Tubman Elementary School
Harriet Tubman Elementary School, on 13th Street NW, between Kenyon and Irving. It was apparently built in the 60s or 70s, judging by the architecture. I'm not a fan of the metal security screens over the windows of schools, it makes them look like prisons. Fortunately, the new Lincoln-Bell Multicutural School on 16th Street NW has uncovered windows to let in the light, so perhaps the screens are a thing of the past.
