Notre Dame at Night

First evening of our honeymoon in Paris, we went for a walk by the Cathedral De Notre Dame. It was nearly a full moon, and very cloudy. Cathy looked up and got very excited at how the building looked against the night sky. The figures and gargoyles on the sides and roofs of the Notre Dame became very spooky looking. It was perfect. My only regret was not having a tripod.

I had to lie in the middle of the street to get this shot. My wife watched out for cars while I tried to hold the camera steady enough to get a good shot.
