      Great work as usual Thomas.

What sort of exposure time are we talking here ? I wonder if I could get close to as good as your film work with a D3x ?

You can absolutely achieve this with digital as well, especially in this babysize ;) I am sure of that.
This one has been shot at f16 4minutes at 100ASA.

With digital you don't have reciprocity and you should use a smaller f-stop because of the smaller focal length with a smaller diffraction limit, so I would have shot this at f8 15s 100ASA.

The most important thing though, wether film or digital, is the postprocessing.

excellent work - like how you've captured the corporate apartments of seoul here and the moon.

Thanks, I will try those settings though my current camera only does ISO 200 minimum so will work out what I need.

Is your view before your shot normally near pitch black with the exception of the lights that you capture, and do you use any kind of ND filters etc ?

You and I, my friend, have made Explore on the same day.

I ran a similar algorithm as Flickr, and found that with a photo in Explore, we are 7x more likely to succeed in life, and 10x more likely to make over one million dollars in the next 10 years.

I'm about 10% confident that algorithm is spot on!
