82/365: Reflections on Getting Out of the Hospital
David got out of the hospital today. Hooray!!!!!!!
He hadn't had a stroke after all, but a transient ischemic attack, a sort of "hey if things aren't fixed you're gonna have a stroke". No permanent damage ... and there isn't a problem with his heart after all, either. Here, take this medication and see your doctor at home. Whew.
Since he went into the hospital right from Gulf Wars and we hadn't seen laundry facilities for a week and a half, the only clean things we had to wear were SCA garb.
So here we are, reflected in one of the front windows of Hattiesburg's Forrest General Hospital, freed, happy, and wearing medieval recreator clothes. The "mundanes" outside the front entrance were rather thoroughly freaked out. LOL.
