Egyptian Women Cut their Hair in Tahrir Square to Protest Fundamentalist Constitution

On 25 December 2012 eight Egyptian women cuts their hair in a protest against the new constitution and the persecution against women at tahrir square, the action was a reference to the daughter of Pharaoh Akhnaton, who cut her hair in grief that the priests were persecuting her father and had struck him blind with their spells.
