WOW - this is breathtaking. Look at your perfect front pleats all the same size - sigh.

Only just spotted this! Really stunning. I love the pink against that duck egg blue, too. The bow really makes it so much more dressy. Amazing seeing our two dresses together. So different.

Perfect work as always. What sort of buttons did you use?

And you said you were intimidated by this pattern - it's fabulous!

Thankyou for your support Miranda! I had made this dress into such an intimidating garment, and it wasn't at all. I am looking forward to making it in a cotton, the silk was quite slippery to handle.
You are so right Robyn, that is the beauty of these clever patterns, so many 'looks' from one design! I lengthened this by simply adding 2'' to the hem and that worked really well.
Thankyou Mel, I can't wait to take the wedding photos!
I love the bow too! I think it could have been bigger....Thankyou Sadies Closet!
Thankyou isewstuff, I have skipped buttons and I am using vintage black snaps, I did the same with Small Ones tunic, I find it too hard to match thread with 'shot' fabric for the buttonholes.
Thanks Sarvi, her little face certainly was when she popped it on, thats why we sew!
Yes freyiris! How silly of me! It was not that hard. Thankyou!

Thankyou Lyre2, a bit extravagant to use thai silk, but you are so right about the texture!

Wow, Nicole - this is remarkable! I love your bow, too!

Thankyou April, I must confess when I went back and looked at yours I realized your pleats were softer and more ''goblet'' like at the top, I like that much more than this sharp pleating. (Only with silk, I like the cotton very ''pressed'' )!

I had to share, Rachel, when I read your description. I couldn't believe it!
I must make this again, I picked up some baby soft coral pinwale cord and I am considering a casual, winter version for Tildy.
