Snow Tide

    Newer Older

The tide will rise and slowly clean the sheet.

    About:
It was a kinda surreal experience to see how the snow popped out of the water at low tide :)

    Senson
Bildet er tatt på Huk, Bygdøy. Ennå et eksempel på magien nær sjøen rett etter et kraftig snøfall.

    Thanks

Very nicely done - didn't realise it was HDR at first glance (which is how it should be, imho). Pretty spectacular scenery too.

David de Groot You're so right. The HDR technique is just another tool in the toolbox. It should be the final image that counts, but I'm sad to see that some people put some kinda ban on blended images...

    8. David de Groot 73 months ago | reply

Mostly due to the number of people out there that do it so incredibly badly. There are a lot of very overcooked images out there which has given the whole process a bad name.

    9. mortenprom 73 months ago | reply

@David de Groot: You're right.... that's why I stopped explaining my technique. It takes the focus away from the image it self... :))
HDR/tone mapping is just one more technique I might use :))
