Waiting Low

    Newer Older

Let me sit here and wait
    Lower my self and rest
    I can see better
    I can feel better
The light snaking on the rail ahead
    The rumble on my feet
    I am older and wiser
    I am shorter and slower
    but I am smarter
    I am predictable
I am unlike the random gum spots
    on the yellow caution
I am sticking to this pole
    not because I am old...
I like the feel of steel nubs
    on my back!

Mo, i agree with Eric, first i thouht it was a Primarita-pic. But it is fully yours: great pic, love the expression on the man;s face.

I somehow get the sense of loneliness and I-don't-care-what-you-think attitude of this guy.

Excellent picture, Mo! I like how you bring out the colors of what could be a very drab settings, especially the specks of blue and the vibrancy of green & yellow.

Farl, I agree with you... I am not sure how long was he there before me but we were waiting for the same train.

Jimmy, Thanks! You have been posting super pictures! I love them! :)

you have a distinctive way of making the urban, organic. This man looks like a crab, sitting in the shallow ocean. the colours are fantastic.
