Rosemary Seitan with Snow Peas

The company newsletter people have asked us to share our favorite recipes; normally, I don't like to encourage them, but this actually seems like something that might be an interesting and fun outreach sort of thing. I was thinking about submitting this recipe (based on the one in The Garden of Vegan), maybe with this photo.

 

Any better ideas, anyone? This is easy, fast, and good, but will seitan freak out omnis? Will they think it's simply a meat substitute, instead of something tasty in its own right? If I give them the recipe, will they make it with meat instead of trying the seitan? (Probably would, come to think of it.)

 

I'm open to suggestions anyone might have. I'd just like to demonstrate that vegans eat more than just salads and steamed veggies. Not everybody thinks that, but a startling number of them have been surprised to realize I can eat, e.g., pasta.
