Crathie Kirk...

Queen Victoria laid the foundation stone in 1893 and Crathie Kirk opened in 1895. This beautiful old Church of Scotland parish church in the Scottish village of Crathie is best known for being the regular place of worship of the British Royal Family when they are holidaying at nearby Balmoral Castle.

The present Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh attended church service here one hour before this shot was taken.
