Walk on the Wild Side , La Jolla, California
A must walk for all visitors to San Diego is the La Jolla Cove seashore.
The two miles along the Pacific shore includes sea caves, a large seal colony, a marine reserve for snokeling and diving, high sandy cliffs and inspiring views. Near the sea wall you can walk out and have the waves and water surrond you by 360 degrees. Pelicans, gulls, and other shore birds are abundant. Parking is free though sometimes scarce espcially in summer come eartly or stay late.
This shot was on a winter evening during high tide . The cliffs across the sea are of Blacks Beach and Torrey Pines State Park. Its about 300 feet high and there are a few paths you can walk down and climb back up .
