The Big Kiss Goodbye

Or maybe its the big kiss hello, anyway this pair of lovers is about 30 feet tall and is at the bayfront in San Diego, California. Its a public art piece that I didnt like at first but now Im rather fond of. People come and touch the statues to see if the fabric is real (its not) and both men and women and kids peak under the skirt, just more white pantyhose, I looked too. Next to this is a retired aircraft carrier that is now a museum. The bay is a fun place for art and people and boats of all kinds. This gigantic model based on a famous photograph taken in Times Square New York in 1945 at the end of the war by Alfred Eiesenstat.
