Clonmacnoise by the new moon

The round tower of Temple Finghin, built in the 12th century and part of the Clonmacnoise monastic site on the bank of the river Shannon in Co. Offaly in Ireland. To the right is a new moon (it looks more complete in this long exposure) and below it, Jupiter (thanks for the correction, John).

The light on the horizon is from the town of Shannonbridge, where Leinster meets Connacht at the crossing of the Shannon.
