moments like these are so hard to capture in a still image, and you've done it beautifully!

Thank you, ladies. This was definitely a case of being in the right place at the right time. I usually hate wind like that - growing up in Oklahoma, the land of tornadoes, made me fearful - but I'm so glad I went out in it anyway.

    that wind sounds so fascinating

and this shot really is very, very good.

I really love this. the stillness of the symmetry and the motion of the leaves.

(I think it is naturey crap for sure.)

oh it counts. shari's right, this has such a melancholy feel.

I love the movement, it doesn't take much to imagine the leaves spinning in a circle and creating this lovely pile. I can almost feel the wind.

    beautiful capture :)

Yeah, I think it counts. I know it probably felt so much bigger than this image can communicate, but this is beautiful still, and I can feel the movement.

the colors and movement of the leaves add such energy to the gloomy setting.
