How do you focus the lens?

SilverChrome7 Good question, many asked. I think it is the custom black hood but not sure.

Hmmm... maybe it's a fixed focus lens?

SilverChrome7 possible, but that would mean very limited application too.

do you think the raised viewfinder is bc without it the camera would interfere with the hat?? ;)
the red leatherette is awesome. and yes, i wonder how they'd focus.
i found this, with a back view in the post: This is a F-1N version unmodified viewer action provided AE motor drive FN and FN. The most salient feature of this model is that it is lined in red faux fur and the whole kit is protected with a plastic cover in the same color. The collector and owner of the camera, Detlef Prüfert, indicates that this unit was not wearing the original purpose is unknown exactly the model that came with the kit. However, the FD 100mm f/2.8 fits perfectly in the holster, so presumably they were this lens. What I do not fully understand is how you do the approach? Rotating black ring on the cover?.
