This is another portrait of my cat in autumn. I took also this shot with my
Helios 40-2 85mm 1.5, an old M42 russian lens together with my Canon 5D
I shot wide open to get this swirling bokeh, even if you close a bit the
blades it give immediately a dramatically different bokeh feeling.
I took this picture at the gold hour after the sun disappeared so that I
could have lovely golden tones on the ground and my cat's fur :)
Like for the other shot, the big challenge here was to shoot handheld with
low shutter speed and to get the cat's face razor sharp while focusing
manually with such a shallow depth of field (f/1.5!!)!
