In autumn all cats aren't grey...
The bokeh here is obtained by the vintage Russian lens, the Helios 40/2 85mm f/1.5 I used wide open.
The problem about this shot is that I wanted to be close to the cat but I wanted to shoot wide open because the bokeh changes dramatically while you start to close the blades even a little bit.
The depth of field at 1.5 is extremely shallow and you have to shoot hand held with this type of moving subjects :)
No Photoshop is used here, these are the real colors and real bokeh!!
This lens has of course no auto focus so to get the maximum sharpness right on the cat's face was really challenging in these conditions.
