Gov. Nixon speaks at Wentzville General Motors news conference
As workers at the General Motors Assembly Plant listen, Missouri Governor Jay Nixon speak about the completely redesigned, mid-size Colorado pickup truck that will be made at the facility, creating at least 1,260 jobs in Wentzville, Missouri on November 3, 2011. In addition, the company will begin a second shift of 400 workers on production of its current products, the Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans. General Motors will spend $380 million to upgrade the facility to make the new vehicle.
