Four-Sink-Base-Tessellation with Flowers
Paper: 15 cm
Grid: 32 squares diagonally
Doodled around with four-sink-bases and came up with this. It's quite straight forward so probably has been folded before, let me know if you recognise it.
I'm not sure whether I should transform the remaining four squares into flowers too or if I better leave it as it is. What do you think?
For the moment I decided to leave it as it is.
The paper I used is similar to "Sato Gami" with a bit different texture but the same feel and folding properties. Very nice for tessellations, but because of the thickness does not allow a too many divisions.
I rotateted the grid of 45°, which let me fold 13 of the four-sink-things, a 6 x 6 molecule.
