The coast down at Ferreira on the island of São Miguel (Açores,
Portugal) is beautiful, quite, sunny - and we don't know, why it's not
mentioned in any travel guide. There's a nice spa and a nice
restaurant, which nobody seems to know or to visit. However, it's
worth visiting - and a good place to take some pictures. But be
careful: Many Nikon-type-of-guys are running around there ... ;-)
This picture was taken as a panorama with a Canon EOS 7D and a Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II lens in three shots: one in the middle, one shifted to the left, one shifted to the right. The lens was tilted down about 1° to bring the foreground into focus. A Lee Polarizer and Lee GND 0.6 soft and hard filters were used to darken the sky a little bit and to balance the exposure.
Technical Details: Canon EOS 7D, TS-E24mm f/3.5L II, f/8.0, 0.125 sec (1/8), ISO 100, 0 EV, 24 mm
