de Young Museum

More aerial views of the de Young Museum.

This view shows the significant twist in the museum's tower. I like how the angle shows the relationship of the museum and park with the adjacent neighborhood and with the Pacific Ocean and Marin County in the background.

Despite having a museum membership, I had to wait a few hours before my entry time to view the wildly popular Impressionism exhibit. Luckily there was a breeze and some sun, so I took the opportunity to gain some more experience using my new 24mm equivalent lens in this familiar location. Having used a 28mm lens for several years now, I'm finding that I have to recalibrate my mind to place the camera in the correct location.

Taken by a camera lofted by a kite.
