      Given the normal distance between your eyeballs and ground level, I can only assume that said pecking must have occurred as you came back from the pub on your hands and knees...

      please tell me where I can get that mat! I must have it. My girls aren't of a nasty disposition. They actually just like to come in and say hello, some times sunning themselves on the hardwood floor in my dining room.

      We had a duck that pecked my daughter's eye as she was bending down in the garden. Nearly took it out of its socket! Said duck was immediately sent to a farm to live!

      ha! i could SO use this. the chickens come right into the mudroom every day in the summertime,
      sometimes even all the way into the kitchen.
