My First Palm Pre Video

Newer Older

This video isn't anything special but this video means a lot to me because it took me 9 hours to get my WebOS 1.4 up and running my on Pre.

So when it was finally installed, I took this video after leaving the Sprint Store. You can see the FlatIron Building (that is where the Sprint Store is located) and the Empire State building is green in the background in the beginning of the video.
I think I might need to buy an extra battery because I see myself burning up my battery recording video of everything :-D

I saw your forum post, no special app. I just connected my phone to my computer then uploaded to flickr.

I'm still waiting for someone to create a decent photo editing app for WebOS. Sucks that iPhone users have all the fun ;-( ...

I just cleaned the lens this morning. It must have gotten dirty when they were fixing it. So the video most likely would have been much clearer if I had cleaned it before recording last night, oh well. There's always the next video :-D

You can upload to Flickr via email directly from your Pre. I have done it several times. You can find the easy directions to do that under the Flickr Help menu.

I, too, am very excited about our new video recording capabitilites... this adds a whole new dimension to the phone.

Thanks Royal. I've been doing that since day 1 for photos. But I can only send 30 seconds via email. I really want direct upload of full 90-second clips to Flickr.

Seen on my Flickr home page. (?)
