Red Bulls participate in Yama Sakura exercise in Japan

As part of a cultural exchange effort Red Bull Soldiers visited the Golden Pavilion (Kinkakuji) in Kyoto; Japan. The main house in this Samurai villa; built in the 1220s; is literally covered in gold leaf.

One hundred 34th Red Bull Infantry Division Soldiers participated in Yama Sakura 61 at Camp Itami in Osaka; Japan; Jan. 23 to Feb. 5; 2012. Yama Sakura is an annual; bilateral exercise with the Japan Self Defense Force (JSDF) and the U.S. Military. Yama Sakura 61 is a U.S. Army simulation-driven joint-bilateral command post exercise. This is the 30th iteration of the Japan-based exercise series.
