Philco Predicta television

Predicta model television set manufactured by the Philco Corporation in 1958 and used by Dr. Amos Deinard Jr. The set consists of a rectangular cabinet with a picture tube that can be rotated on its top. The cabinet is covered with an imitation wood grain plastic laminate. The front has a hidden speaker, a channel selector and a volume knob. On one side are three plastic brightness, horizontal and vertical adjustment knobs and a brass antenna. The cabinet itself rests on a brass wire rack, and the picture tube is attached to the cabinet by a brass frame and swivel. The back of the tube is covered with gray plastic, while the front screen is tinted olive green.
