Minor problem with the statement in your review ... "the body is made of magnesium alloy"

Unfortunately the OM-D has only top and front panel made of magnesium alloy with bottom cover stamped from some metal ( brass ? - much thinner and less sturdy in any case) ... I admit that it is a bit confusing as Olympus was deliberately making claims about "magnesium body" to elevate the camera status and show it as a "PRO" body ... the meaning of all this is that it is NOT a CLAM SHELL design protecting the inside of the camera from any angle and OM-D "HALF ARMOUR" protects it only from bumps you would normally receive when caring the camera around on a neck strap ... anything else to a much lesser degree ... especially free fall ( unless you assume law of physics always come into play and it will fall down on the lens element ... ;-)

You can easily verify all that by looking carefully at pictures of "cut in half" camera displayed on different fairs worldwide ... it shows element (thickness) differences quite clearly
