      Oh god... at least I know my D200 and 70-200 will survive if I get them a little wet.

      actually, that's a D2H. I didn't take the D200 as I'm a little less convinced by the dense-foam seals to resist heavy rain - as compared to the proper rubber seals on the D2H

      Only yesterday shot a football game with a D2x and 70-200, no complaints whatsoever about the weather seals here either.

      actually...this D2H died of a battery short not long after. I don't know if it was moisture related or not, but Nikon's autopsy told me that there was saltwater corrosion in places internally (how I have no clue, as I've never shot near the sea with this body).

      well, the camera died of moisture ingestion, and the lens has been sold a while ago...
