      I've been following the transient orcas around Monterey for years. There is nothing more thrilling then being in their presence. Beautiful shot.

      I didn't *see* that they were chasing an animal, but from their behavior, I think that's exactly what they were doing. I suspect that a harbor seal had taken refuge under our boat, because they porpoised directly toward the boat, swam underneath us, and then turned and swam under the boat again,
