electro-music 2013 took place at the Greenkill Retreat Center in Huguenot, New York. The electro-music festival, known as the "Woodstock of electronic music," is the world's premiere event for experimental electronic music.

This year I debuted an experimental piece for optical theremin and guitar amp, as well as a longer Launchpad piece in Ableton. I continued my collaboration with fellow electronic music composer Robert Dorschel in our duo RodoJede. I also participated in a live improv collaboration with several other artists in the Zero Input Mixer segment.

Workshops his year were exceptional and very heady in terms of technical content. My favorite was the Teensy microcontroller build with Gordon Good, followed closely by an amazing demo of advanced MIDI mapping techniques for Launchpad by Aaron Todd.
