i don't believe in ghosts ... or the government.

i mean -- they both clearly exist, but neither one is worth a damn.

... on second thought, science might eventually come up with a use for ghosts.

Our Daily Challenge: Multiple Choice

the geek behind the curtain: all shots and layers in this assemblage were taken and developed by myself.

a cliche "shot in the shower" mixed with a shot of a storm cloud. 8 or 9 layers to give off the range of clear image to blurry one, darken one corner, lighten the other corner, keep the hand separate, try to keep the nice natural highlighting on the clear curtain.

the entire original was clear and sharp, no steam or condensation. as with earlier experiments (with trying to preserve clarity in a super dark room), its far easier to make a clear shot blurry and foggy than it is to make a blurry shot clear. the lesson remains the same: to make a nice dramatic dark portrait image (without money or fancy lighting) shoot in a brightly lit room and add in the darkness later. to make a steamy blurry shot, take the clean bright one first.
