the geek behind the curtain: all shots in this assemblage were taken and developed by myself.

 

this started out as a kind of "road to knowledge" or "road of education" idea, that as the layers were added became more of a "road of life" or road-of-inner-mystery kind of thing.

 

the arch and its light as well as the stone work of the face are part of our local university. the path of light is a winding concrete sidewalk bordered by dark trees on the way to a local park. the words -- both in cursive and in "x-files" typewriter fonts are part of what i'd written as the introduction to the Flickr photo for Memory.

 

overall there's a touch of selective color and a whole lot of playing with layers. that's pretty much it.

 

i've really slowed down in the last couple weeks -- on making comments and on making more art like this. my apologies for that. sure do hope y'all are doing well. i'll try to catch up with you soon.
