WWI Pilot, Bristol Fighter, RAF Crail, Scotland 1919

This photograph of a pilot, Sept 1919, belonged to my late grandfather J A Wilson MM. (1986-1992) After two & a half years in the Machine Gun Corps he transferred succesfully to the RFC to train as a Fighter Pilot. His flying took place at RAF Crail, Scotland. His instructor was Captain Dean. Or is this Jack's young brother Willie only 19 or 20 at the time. He trained with the RFC, flew De Havilland bombers during the war but sadly died when his plane crashed delivering mail after the War.
