"Thinking Pink for BCA in a new photo session" by mimitalks, married w/children
My friend (and stylist) Tammy shared with me that she had used the gold frame shown at a 50th Wedding Anniversary party for her parents. She lent it to me for some BCA images.
Even though October is waning (and fast), I'm continuing my BC awareness. Besides getting with Erin last night for what will be one of our final photo sessions for BCA, I took out my Pink Ribbon Shopping Card for use starting tomorrow. In southeast Texas, this card is sold by merchants who have agreed to give 20% off on sales of selected merchandise for those who use their $50 Julie Rogers "Gift of Life" Pink Ribbon Shopping card with qualified purchases. 2 Octobers ago, I was able to get $500 off of my kitchen renovation, because my local contractor participated in this awareness effort. My accompanying brochure explains that this endeavor will help make available free mammogram screenings and extensive educational awareness programs for breast, ovarian and other gynecological cancers to individuals in Southeast Texas.
