Normally, I don't blend images but rely on grads. A 0.6 would have been useful here but mine was snapped in Scotland, and Lee have a 50 year waiting list for replacements. I used a 0.9 ND and ISO 50 to get the shutter speed down to 2 seconds to at least capture some movement on the lake. The blend came from three exposures from the same RAW file: one for the foreground,one for the water, and one for the tricky tree tops.
Anyway...I really liked the similarity between the trees, their juxtaposition and their lakeside location.
