Seeing the sea free of ice for the first time after a long winter is an occasion well worth photographing.
The villa on the left was built in 1898 and now serves as a restaurant called Saaristo. It's on a small island called Luoto in front of Helsinki, and I would imagine it's one of the few restaurants in the world where you can get a boat fee in your bill! Anyway, I didn't want to make the building the main subject of the photo because of all the cool-looking ice chunks, but I'm sure I'll feature it fully sometime.
