Nepal

This is a 61 second exposure from Machhapuchre Base Camp. I used a gorilla pod and I was holding down the button in the freezing cold as I did not have a remote trigger.

 

I decided to make this black and white because there wasn't much useful colour in this photo and there was quite a bit of noise, considering that this was a D100 sensor after all.

 

We ended up hiking up this way the next morning, at around 5am. :)

    It was funny having to jump around to get your bodyheat up before settling down to hold the shutter for 60 seconds as we got colder and colder...
