From this morning at the Orwood Railroad Bridge along the Old River branch of the San Joaquin River, CA.
I joined Jeff F. last evening at the sister bridge to the east and the light was beautiful. I had a hunch the same clouds would hang around until morning, so got up at 4:30am to look for some light. Sure enough, as I approached Orwood Road, the horizon was lit in magenta and continued to burn in as sunrise approached.
Yes, the dang mosquitoes were certainly awake too, and I've added repellent to my shopping list this week.
