The sky was looking promising this evening as I was throwing lenses into my bag to get loaded up and out of the house. I needed to get south to put the sun behind Mt. Diablo, so I took off and got only as far as Vasco Road before the rays started poking out and I needed to start shooting. I clicked a few from a dirt path and then decided to drive my truck between a row of vines in the vineyard to get a better foreground. Of course I scratched my door on some steel vine supports, but that was no surprise. I hopped up on the roof rack of the truck and shot this pano just as the sky began to burn.
Lens is the DFA 90mm f/2.8 Macro in a pano.
Thanks for looking!
